between two worlds by SGA-Maddin between two worlds by SGA-Maddin
I have worked at this for a very long time. The render of the deadalus was the easiest part of this picture. The Background with planets and starfield was the hardest part. It was difficult to arrange and colorize them but after many hours I can present you: between two worlds.
I used:
Cinema 4d (BC-304 Daedalus)
Apophysis (the fractal nebulars...)
Photoshop (rest)
It´s a fictional Stargate Atlantis scene; the big planets and the little moon at the right are inhabited by the asurans and the daedalus has discovered them...
Criticism and comments are very wellcome!

Merry Christmas and a happy new year!!!
Martin

:w00t: I love it, but i wonder why people draw planets so close together like that. Not really realistic. But art doesn't have to be realistic right?
I always thought a cool space scene would be of an inhabited earth sized moon, orbiting a gas giant like saturn, with a few other moons in the background.
(Then you could have several 'planets' in the same pic and still be to scale) That would be epic!
